19 Apr A Madison company has raised $33 million to integrate data between health care providers and apps
Madison-based Redox Inc. has raised $33 million from investors that will help it grow its network of customers and double its workforce.
Redox, which helps healthcare vendors and providers share data, announced the $33 million round in a news release.
Battery Ventures led the $33 million round; .406 Ventures, RRE Ventures and Intermountain Ventures also invested. The company says its platform helps ease one of the biggest challenges in healthcare — exchange of data among organizations and software.
Redox’s platform is used by more than 450 healthcare providers and hundreds of cloud-based applications, according to the company, exchanging around 5 million patient records per day. Redox works with more than 35 different electronic health record vendors.
