People who have trouble swallowing could be gulping down specialized versions of cranberry juice, lemonade and iced tea sometime next year, if a Madison company can hit its goals.

Swallow Solutions, 401 Charmany Drive, has lined up another $727,000 from 18 investors, according to documents filed with federal regulators.

President and CEO Eric Horler said the new funds will help the company advance its line of thickened drinks and develop additional products.
